SIRVA Files 2005 Forms 10-Q and Form 10-K
CHICAGO, January 30, 2007 — SIRVA, Inc. (NYSE: SIR), a global relocation services provider, today announced that it has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission its Forms 10-Q for the quarters ended March 31, June 30 and September 30, 2005 and Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2005.
On January 17, 2007, the Company filed an amended Form 10-K related to the previously announced restatement of SIRVA’s financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2004, 2003 and 2002. The amended Form 10-K was filed to correct certain accounting errors. The most significant error was to the balance sheet, which resulted from not attributing certain goodwill, trade names and associated deferred tax liabilities related to foreign operations to the appropriate foreign entities.
